The Old Studio

Faber Studios was formed in September 2009 by Limerick School of Art and Design graduates Chris Boland, Sarah Bolger, Clive Moloney and Stephen Neary.  Faber Studios was formed as part of Creative Limerick, a Limerick City Council initiative originally created by Lise-Ann Sheahan.  Faber Studios continues to be part of the initiative today.

The studio and gallery was initially located on Lower Catherine Street.  The original members built the interior of the space with great support from Limerick School of Art and Design.  All four artists were object making sculptors and so the original manifesto was based around creating a contemporary space to make and exhibit sculpture in Limerick City.
